Category A1 Rules For Motorcyclists

Category A1 rules are for those who wish to ride small motorbikes. They have capacity of up to 35 kW. They cannot be derived directly from vehicles with more than twice their power.

The open drone operation category can be subdivided into three categories A1 through A3. You can fly drones that have class C0 or C1 as part of the A1 subcategory (fly over people) until January 2024.

A1

Category A1 is the earliest of three drone categories controlled by EASA. It applies to aircraft up to the maximum takeoff mass (MTOM), which is 25 kilograms. It requires a flight schedule and an account of flight along with an identification system for remotes and a geoawareness system. The drone must be within the constant view of the pilot. A2 permits drones that are transitional that aren't CE-marked, but have been modified to decrease collision risks with people. You'll only be able to fly these drones in A2 until the end of 2022, following which they'll need to comply with A3 regulations.

The A1 and A2 categories are designed to help you become a safe and confident motorcyclist. The number of lessons needed is contingent on your ability and your progress in your learning, but you must complete a specific amount of special rides. A3

A4

The DOH is currently preparing guidelines for category A4. These guidelines will be in line with other operations, and will include specifics such as the number of dressings that are changed each day. They will be presented to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infections (IATF-EID) and the DOH National Immunization Technical Advisory Group. The IATF-EID and the DOH-National Immunization Technical Advisory Group will be reviewing and approving these guidelines before they are finalized.

Drones with the class identification label C0 or C1 may be flying within 50 metres of those who aren't involved in the incident. This is a low-risk class however, strict security measures are required to reduce incidents. Drones classified as A1 or A2 must take an additional theoretical test to be able to operate in this subcategory.

This test is designed to assess knowledge of the added dangers of flying drones near people. The certificate of competence is issued after successful completion of this test. The pilot must maintain at least 30 meters from any uninvolved person, or 5 meters when flying in a slow flight mode.

The new category E blends the classes kategoria a1 (retail), A2 (financial services and professional services) B1 (offices) A4 (restaurants/cafes) and B5 for hot food takeaway.
