Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades to gear increase its base stats, and sometimes boosts its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations used.

For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item like armor, weapon, or ring. This replaces the item with another of the same kind and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original equipment's condition, and any resources wasted won't get compensated.

Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or bought at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item such as increasing its damage.

Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To produce them, you need a higher level reroll token. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens placed on action spaces stays on the spot until the next Success is rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they are open they will display a complete description and the icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

During the course of an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of selected Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available to reroll, and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These stones are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's current level and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.

After selecting the item upgrading to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not affect the item's longevity. This makes it an ideal way for players to gain an advantage in combat without putting a strain on their accounts. Furthermore players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item to new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.

For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that lets players increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will gain an upgraded level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been reached.

Items with upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at a time. Each upgrade component will require an amount of items as well as a certain level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the first is where players can add a piece of equipment to be upgraded, and the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like once it is at its next level. Once the player has enough items by pressing the yellow arrow, it will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of an item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum level that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will have discounts.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item upgrades will vary based on the item type but generally, you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

Item upgrade components can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for additional effects or to increase the level of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.

Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item level upgrade or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components include additional modifiers which can further increase the stats of an item.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and gives an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" however increases damage from weapons.

Some items benefit from upgrading less for their increased stats, but more for the fact that it allows players to gain the most value out of a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the necessary requirements. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

Once you've met the required requirements for an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
