This fridge is a good choice, despite the blip. It has a large freezer compartment which is uncommon for counter-depth French door fridges. It also holds a lot of frozen food, which is a big difference from other models.

The fridge comes with 17 shelves and compartments. The refrigerator compartment is 18.5 cubic feet, which is typical for a fridge with a French door at this price. It has a decent sized freezer in the left side. But it's not the most spacious one I've seen.

You can alter the shelves in both compartments to create customized storage arrangement for what you want to store. The GE PYE22PYNFS's design for the interior is attractive, too. The LED lighting is an appealing touch. The in-door storage bins have a third shelf which can be folded down to store large items. The drawers have temperature controls so you can set them for Beverage, Meat, or Deli settings. The drawers are simple to shut and open, but I found the textured plastic coatings to be a bit rough on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with the complete set of features you'd expect from a refrigerator in this price range, including Wi-Fi and app support through GE's SmartHQ software. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also comes with a veggie compartment that helps keep vegetables and fruits fresher longer and dual compressors to ensure the best preservation of food. The ice maker is one of the best we've ever tested and produces a pyramid-shaped ice with a low water consumption. This fridge is ideal for a single household or kitchenette that needs an attractive design and top of the line food preservation.

The fridge was rated the best refrigerator in our Refrigerators Test for several reasons. Its freezer temperatures remained constant at just above 0° Fahrenheit and never changed by more than a fraction, this is crucial to avoid freezing burn. The fridge's fridge section also performed well, reaching the temperature that was set for the initial setting within a matter of hours and keeping the temperature constant over the course of our tests.

Bosch has a reputation for high-end appliances and appliances, so it's not a surprise that this counter depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance, with the option to connect to your home Wi-Fi as well as Bosch's Home Connect platform. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the refrigerator has the standard French-door layout, with gallon-sized door bins at each door as well as two rows of spill-capture shelves, and a set of sleeker drawers. The top shelf on the right can be folded down to make space for taller items. There's also a full-width drawer to store deli items and an internal water dispenser.

The other issue we have with this refrigerator is its doors. They have handles that are sunken on the front that allow shorter people to easily open them from the bottom, however they're still difficult for taller people to guide closed without slamming them. It would have been much better if they came with a front-mounted handle.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent option for those who want to combine the look of a french door fridge opening space door refrigerator with a more efficient design. This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good option for those looking for a French-door fridge that doesn't break the budget. It's a minimalist design that's not as striking in appearance like some of the competitors but it does have enough features that make it a great choice. Its most important feature, the adjustable temperature drawer helps to keep food items such as vegetables and meat fresher longer. It also has a large water dispenser as well as a good ice maker that operates quickly.

The "Chill Drawer", which is situated above the two crisper bins, is another great feature. This drawer lets you divert part of the refrigerator's cooling power directly to this area, meaning you can keep food items that require special attention. This feature is adjustable using an outside slider that is located inside the drawer. You can also use this to set a general cooling level for the entire fridge, but I've noticed that adjusting the general settings tends to be more effective than specific ones.

In my tests, I discovered that the temperatures in the refrigerator were fairly consistent across different areas of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge didn't stray significantly from 38 degrees, and the middle of the fridge was within one degree of 36. This is a solid performance, but isn't quite at the top of our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. This fridge can be paired with a smart thermostat to gain more precise information on the internal temperature of your fridge.

The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's outside is made of grey-bodied stainless steel which has a "smudge-proof" finish. It blocks streaks and fingerprints better than other stainless steel finishes I've tried.
